What is "Numbers without a +code"?

A number like +44 7700 900123 says which country it's from (+44 = UK). A local number like 07700 900123 doesn't.

If your file has local numbers, pick their country in ๐Ÿ“ Load Numbers. The app adds the dial code and drops the leading trunk 0.

If every number starts with + or 00, leave it on Auto.

Accepted input formats

  • +E.164 โ€” +44 7700 900123
  • 00 exit prefix โ€” 0044โ€ฆ
  • Local โ€” 07700 900123 (pick the ๐Ÿ“ country)
  • CSV / TXT โ€” first column is read, quotes stripped

Duplicates are skipped automatically.

Filtering

  • Every country in your file is selected after loading. Tap a chip to switch it off or on.
  • Carriers are grouped by country. Use ๐ŸŒ World to browse every carrier.
  • Search works with names, ISO codes (GB), acronyms (UK, UAE), and dial codes (+971).
  • Filters apply live. EXECUTE just reports the count.

Carrier column

Worked out from the number itself, following the same rules as Google's carrier lookup:

  • Most countries: the number's prefix, matched against Google's libphonenumber carrier data (~29,000 prefixes, 215 countries).
  • US, Canada & Caribbean (+1): the company each block of numbers was assigned to (~1.46 million blocks). This also tells Mobile from Landline / VoIP, which the number alone can't.

It's the network the number was originally issued to. A number moved to another carrier keeps its old prefix. In the US that happens a lot. Only a paid live (HLR) lookup can see ports.

  • Mobile (carrier unlisted): a valid mobile whose range has no published carrier.
  • Unknown carrier: no carrier data exists for that country or area code.
  • Landline, Toll-free / VoIP / other: not a mobile number.
  • Invalid number: no carrier is named for numbers that can't exist.

What VALID means

The number is checked against Google's libphonenumber rules for its country: right length and inside a range that country actually issues. The type (Mobile, Landline, Toll-freeโ€ฆ) comes from the same rules.

For +1 numbers it's stricter: the exchange must be assigned to a carrier, and 555 numbers (reserved for movies and directory info) are rejected.

VALID does not mean the line is switched on. A correctly formed number may still be unassigned or disconnected. Checking that needs a live network lookup (HLR), a paid service the page can't do on its own.
